ImmunoVaccine Inc. is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to the President & CEO, you must be able to work effectively with the executive team and board. The CFO is responsible for producing monthly and quarterly financial statements and providing analysis, evaluation, and planning related to business activities, strategic alliances, and financing activities.
We are seeking a highly motivated and focused individual interested in an exciting opportunity with our vibrant and growing biotech company. You will work with the team executing all aspects of finance and accounting from the company’s corporate office in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Your leadership will ensure effective and timely financial reporting and regulatory compliance, in a public company environment, while having involvement in decision making and future business strategies.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing the financial activities of a public company. You will find yourself working closely with staff, auditors and legal counsel. You will also have an opportunity to work with analysts, institutional and financial partners.

2. Senior Research Scientist
Immunovaccine Inc. (TSX-V: IMV), a publicly traded company, has a great opportunity for a skilled research scientist. Immunovaccine Inc. is focused on the commercialization of its novel vaccine technology, DepoVaxTM, and product candidates. The company continues to strengthen its vaccine pipeline through licensing and strategic partnerships to develop therapeutic cancer and infectious disease vaccines.
Job Purpose
Lead and participate in designing and executing various research programs in cancer and infectious diseases. A broad in-depth knowledge of vaccines and strong leadership and communication skills are required. Immunovaccine’s patented vaccine delivery system, DepoVax™, is now in the clinical stage and is applicable for the enhancement of cancer and infectious disease vaccines. The successful candidate will have knowledge and exposure to the regulatory requirements of phase 1 and phase 2 biologics gained through experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in designing and running research programs
• Evaluate new products and vaccine technologies, including vaccine components and targets
• Prepare research reports and grant applications
• Participate in the preparation of IND filings
• Provide senior level support to the Vice President of Research and Development
IMV is looking for a highly qualified, credible scientist with a solid track record and broad background in vaccinology gained through three to five years experience in North American operations. This person will have an ability to evaluate vaccine technologies including delivery platforms, vaccine components and vaccine targets. Leadership qualities are essential along with excellent verifiable communication skills, both written and verbal.
Salary will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
