Dr. Marc Mansour, Head Scientist, Reproductive Biology and Head Scientist, Infectious Diseases

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, (March 21, 2004) Dr. Warwick Kimmins, President and CEO of ImmunoVaccine Technologies Inc. (IVT), is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Marc Mansour as Head Scientist, Reproductive Biology and Head Scientist, Infectious Diseases. Dr. Mansour received his doctorate from Dalhousie University in 2001. His expertise lies in the field of molecular biology and immunology. His previous work included the generation of transgenic fish for human medical applications and the structural/ functional characterization of numerous genes expressed in specialized cells of the human immune system. Since he graduated, Dr. Mansour has been working at ImmunoVaccine Technologies in the capacity of research scientist in the R&D division. Dr. Mansour's recent contributions at ImmunoVaccine Technologies include the functional characterization and tailoring of the VacciMax® platform for a variety of contraceptive and infectious disease vaccines. The appointment of Dr. Mansour as head scientist is a reflection of the recent advancement achieved in the development of preclinical vaccine candidates entering ImmunoVaccine Technologies' product pipeline.

About IVT IVT is a vaccine enhancement company with a unique platform technology, VacciMax®, which can be applied to most human and veterinary vaccines and immunotherapies. In addition to its current veterinary projects, other IVT programs include industry relationships to develop human vaccines against infectious disease and cancer.
