Immunovaccine started out as an animal health company and successfully developed Spayvac, a contraceptive vaccine for seals.
Today, Pfizer Animal Health is developing two livestock vaccines using the company’s proprietary vaccine delivery technology. The licenses both validate Immunovaccine’s technology and have provided first revenues for the company in January 2008. Since Immunovaccine has made a strategic decision to focus on human health, licenses for development of other animal health products will be sold by the company in due course.
Immunovaccine will capitalize on the broad market potential of its delivery technology by licensing DepoVax™ for selected human vaccines.
